Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Bachelor of Psychology (Philippines)
Hi! I’m Elizza, originally from the Philippines, a place known for its rich culture, strong family values, and close-knit communities that have shaped who I am today. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which deepened my understanding of human behaviour, particularly in children. I have also completed my Diploma in Early Childhood Education, allowing me to focus on the incredible journey of nurturing and supporting children’s development during their most formative years.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about self-care and wellness. I enjoy going to the gym, especially Pilates and yoga, as they help me stay grounded and present. I also love reading, journaling, and embracing practices that support mindfulness and overall well-being. I truly believe that when we take care of ourselves, we are in the best position to care for others.
Above all, I am committed to creating a caring, warm, and positive environment where children feel valued, safe, and excited to explore the world around them. As a leader, I am equally passionate about fostering a supportive and uplifting workplace culture for my team. one where educators feel motivated, respected, and truly at home each day. I believe that when educators feel supported and inspired, they can provide the highest quality care and education for the children and families we serve.
It is such a rewarding experience to guide both children and educators through growth, learning, and connection every day.

Bachelor of Teacher Early Childhood Care
ABOUT ME: I grew up in South Africa where most of my family still live and was lucky enough to finish my schooling in New Zealand, where I also completed my study to become an Early Childhood Teacher. I have lived in Brisbane since 2023. I enjoy spending time in the outdoors going for hikes, going to the beach, and camping with my partner Matthew in our van.
ABOUT TEACHING: My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that strong, respectful relationships are the foundation for meaningful learning. I value each child’s voice and strive to create an environment where they feel safe, seen, and empowered to take ownership of their learning. A key part of my practice is ensuring that the learning environment is warm, inclusive, and emotionally secure – one that fosters not just the cognitive development but also the social, emotional, and imaginative growth of every child.
Within the pivotal role of the Educational Leader, I will be guiding and supporting the Team while role modelling best practice to bring children’s voices to life. Visual learning is displayed in our Floor Books for children to revisit their own experiences and regularly updated for Families to see.

Completing Bachelors of early childhood and care
ABOUT ME: I am Claudia the Assistant Director and Educator! I am Italian Lebanese Australian born and have a 15-month-old boy named Iliyas! My son is very active, smart, curious and loves to keep me super busy! I have worked with children for almost eight years ranging in ages from foundation to primary school. Being a part of a child’s learning and curiosity journey brings me an immense amount of joy and satisfaction, watching them grow, witnessing their personalities shine through and allowing a safe space for them to develop into their own is special. In my spare time I love to read, I could probably open my own bookstore soon with the number of books I own! I love to shop (this is defintely an area that needs tweaking), however my favourite thing to do is spending time with my son and family, we are always out and about on the weekends exploring new places and visiting a lot of our favourite local spots too!
ABOUT TEACHING:
I will always ensure your children will have autonomy and agency to have freedom in their learning, that their learning environment will also reflect this.
I will encourage and validate their ideas, imagination, and curiosity.
I will always be a safe place for all children to confide in if they need, to reassure, validate and encourage in a positive direction.
To be a respectful, confident and consistent role model, as Lev Vygotsky (child development philosopher) suggests a child’s cognitive development is profoundly shaped by social interactions and cultural context.

ABOUT ME: I am a proud mother of my wonderful daughter (Amy). I moved to Australia from the Philippines some time ago and ever since. I’ve embraced both family and community life here. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring, catching up with friends, watching great movies, gardening and cooking activities that help me stay creative and blessed.
ABOUT TEACHING: Working with young children is my passion because I get to spend time with little ones. It is incredibly rewarding to see them develop new skills, ideas and confidence. I value the opportunity to guide and support children as they build independence and prepare for school, celebrating every milestone in their learning journey.
MY WORK VALUES: I believe that reliability and effectiveness come from showing respect, kindness and consistency in everything I do. Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care
Bachelor of Animation and Arts
ABOUT ME: I grew up in Australia, with most of my family background being from New Zealand and Ireland. I was lucky enough to stay connected with my background while growing up and studying in Australia, and I continue to strive to share my knowledge of stories and languages. I have lived in Queensland my whole life and love to spend my time gardening, at the beach or painting at the beautiful parks around Brisbane.
ABOUT TEACHING: My Teaching Philosophy has grown and developed out of a passion for the rights of younger people and children. I believe that all children deserve the right to be treated with respect and access to an equitable education. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, and after completing my Cert III in 2019 I remained in further study. I will be completing a Bachelor of Animation and Arts at Griffith in 2025 before going on to Study Secondary Education with goals of being an Art and English teacher. A key part of my practice is making sure that all children feel heard, seen and safe in a way that is respectful and thoughtful. I believe this helps fosters an environment where children feel like they can ask questions and foster their curiosity.
